The Tumbling Company of Houston Summer 2011 Recreational Gymnastics

 

Summer Tumbling Classes: classes similar to the school year program, continuing on skills, movement & balance games and obstacle courses.  Good for introducing new children to our program. Mixed-aged siblings welcome, as enrollment allows. 

Tumbling/Gymnastics Camps: for elementary ages, both beginners & intermediates. A fun camp learning gymnastics skills, mixed with games, flexibility, strength training, obstacle courses & character lessons.

Cheer Camps: for elementary ages, both beginners & intermediates. A fun camp learning cheer basics, stunts, jumps and tumbling skills mixed with games, flexibility, strength training & character lessons.

Indoor Soccer Camps: for preschoolers-Kinders. An intro camp learning soccer basics using fun skill games & stations. 

Video (Short Film) Camps: for 3rd grade to 8th grade.  A fun camp learning basics from A-Z on conceptualizing, writing, simplifying, videoing, editing and finalizing short film videos.  Geared for both beginners and intermediates, we will have hands on time in small groups creating stories, getting ready for the shoot, helping shoot, editing the clips and creating a final product.

All ages / grades listed below are as of September 1, 2011.  All classes conducted on site at respective church gym.  All classes & camps subject to minimum enrollment needs / interest to make. Full refunds if a class does not make.

Chapelwood UMC - Session 1
June 14- July 7 (8 classes)

The Tumbling company will be a part of the on-site “5 Summer Days” (ages 2½  -5 yrs. )
“5 Summer Days” include weeks of June 13th, 20th, 27th plus July 25th.

Gymnastics Games & Yell Camp - First Presbyterian Downtown
June 13-16 (4 days, afternoon)
Monday - Thursday (boys & girls entering Kind- 5th grades)
Tuition $105 (payable to FIT for LIFE)
                Times: 12:15-4:15  (12:00 pick up from VBS, Brown bag lunch 12:15-12:45 Class 12:45- 4:15.)
                Ages: entering Kinder - 5th grade (separated by ages)

Cheer Camp - Memorial Drive Methodist
June 20 - 24 (5 days, afternoon) 
Mon-Fri  (5 yrs- 5th grade)

Please Note:

I, the undersigned parent or guardian of the above student(s), hold the Tumbling Company of Houston, LLC, its staff and the host organization harmless for any and all injuries my child may incur during the scheduled tumbling or dance activities.

If needed and in the event that I cannot be contacted, I hereby authorize medical treatment for the above student(s).

I understand that I am enrolling my child for the 2008 class sessions and that I may withdraw my child at any time by providing written or verbal notice to Robbie Hirst. Upon request, I understand that a prorated refund will be remitted for classes paid for and remaining in the session. All refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee. I also understand that if I withdraw my child(ren) I will be liable for tuition payments of all scheduled classes up to and including the termination date.
