The Tumbling Company of Houston, LLC “Encouraging Children through Movement” Summer 2005 Camps @ Memorial Drive UMC church

 

Who: Boys & Girls, Kinder-5th grade.
Where: Memorial Drive UMC (just outside of the Beltway)
When: July 25 - 29
Time: 9:00-2:00 @ Memorial Drive UMC gym (bring a lunch)
Cost: $200/participant

This year we are offering a day camp for boys and girls entering Kind-5th grade for beginners and intermediates.

For beginners, it is a great place to experience movement skills promoting agility, balance, coordination, timing and body control.

For intermediates, it gives your child a chance to learn new tumbling skills as he/she is ready (such as back hand springs - flip flops, back flips, front hand springs , front flips and more). It also gives a change to polish up on basic skills.

Beyond tumbling skills, we will also have activities for vaulting, balance beam and simplified bars, Mixed throughout the day will be obstacle courses, relay races and other challenging and fun movement games.

Children will be grouped into older and younger age groups. All activities will be age appropriate and well supervised.

In all we do we value teaching integrity, character development and a simple daily Biblical devotional .
